Heart Stew

December

2 lb. beef heart
1 large onion, chopped
1 T. dry bell pepper flakes
1 1/2 t. seasoned salt
salt / pepper
3 beef bouillon cubes
1 8oz. can tomato sauce
3 c. water
3 potatoes, peeled, cubed
4 carrots, sliced
2 ribs celery, chopped

Cut heart into cubes, remove fat, gristle. and blood vessels. In a large skillet, combine heart, onion, bell flakes, seasoning, beef bouillon cubes, water and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil and simmer uncovered
1 hours. Serves 6

My best friend ever "BFF" Loretta , during the 80's, would come over with her baby April, and during nap time, the two of us were glued to General Hospital.

Loretta, I love you very much. You rock! No one has EVER presented me with homemade egg noodles like yours.

Thank you Oprah Winfrey for teaching us about cross contamination while utilizing cutting boards and knives. I wished we could sit down over a glass of iced tea and chat.
