December 8, 1992

3/4 c. water
2 T. honey
1 T. oleo
1 pkg. hot roll mix
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 t. cinnamon
1 egg
Glaze: 1/2 c. powdered sugar mixed with 12 T. milk

In a small saucepan, heat water, honey and oleo until tepid. Add yeast packet from roll mix and stir until yeast dissolves. In another bowl, combine yeast mixture, raisins, cinnamon and egg. Add flour mixture, blend well. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled. Grease a 9" x 5" loaf pan. Knead dough according to directions, form into loaf and place in pan. Cover and let rise until doubled. Bake in a preheated 350* oven for 40 minutes or until golden brown, Cool and spread glaze over loaf

So drizzly today. I made this bread and Devin and Trai are eating this and watching Sesame Street. They love Elmo.

Marriage is when you agree to spend the rest of your life in a room that's too warm, beside someone who's sleeping in a room that's too cold.
